Can you use a Handcart also as a stroller?
Your child should always sit in a stroller first. These usually bring more favorable ergonomics, which benefits the child's development of the musculoskeletal system. Then, when it gets bigger and you want to transport more and more, the stroller reaches its limits. That is, when it can hold itself upright independently and has outgrown the baby seat of the stroller. We recommend our Handcart for children / infants from about 1 year.

The play and fun factor is also greater with the Handcart. Last but not least, you can use it again and again for your leisure activities even without a child. So it can be used universally. This also makes it with its lower price, compared to the stroller / stroller, to an interesting alternative.

What is the equipment of our handcart?
With our Handcart you will find a whole range of useful gimmicks in the set. This means they are equipped with many pockets, a cup holder, a comfort suspension with brakes, 2x 3 point safety belts, height adjustable tow bar, roof, rain cover and mosquito net, just to name a few advantages. The Wheels of our Handcart are designed to be easy to push or pull. Since you mostly carry the Handcart on the sidewalk or more solid paths, we adjusted the center of gravity of our Wheels for that as well.
When I was a kid myself, we also had a wooden Handcart.
This one was mainly for playing. Because it was very bulky and heavy, it was very difficult to transport. Unfortunately, for this reason, my parents did not take my wooden boller cart with them on trips and outings. Today's Handcart are much lighter, easy to fold and have an incredible amount of accessories. They are simply well thought out. Several years ago we noticed the great new Handcart. We then purchased one for our kids and "tested" it for over 5 years. The Handcart became our constant companion, shopping, on the way to kindergarten, on vacation at the beach, and on trips with and without children. You can't imagine how easy it is to just take everything you need on an outing without having to carry everything. That's when you realize how nice a picnic with the family is. Even if the kids fall asleep, that's no problem. Then you can even use the Handcart as a bed. Thanks to its high load capacity of 80 kg, you can even transport your entire shopping including beverage crates in it.
A few small things but bothered me at my Handcart:
- That for example the bags, which were attached in the Handcart at the head and foot end inside, were unusable if the children sat in the car.
- That the black handle for pushing quickly wore out during daily use.
- That the sun canopy flew off at the seaside because you couldn't tie it down properly.
- The rain cover that we bought for the Handcart did not stay permanently open during the trip, but always slipped down.
- We were unfortunately plagued by many mosquitoes on a trip to the Spreewald and had no mosquito net for our Handcart with it.
- We had unfortunately bought an unsprung Handcart out of ignorance. The difference in comfort is noticeable.
- We did not have an extra holder for a water bottle. Where to put my beloved coffee while pushing?
Now we have disposed of our old Handcart and bought a Handcart with all the requirements we have for it. You only have to look long enough then you will find the right Handcart for all your needs. It only depends on what is important to you.

Since we go on vacation with our children only 1 time a year, sometimes to the sea and sometimes to the mountains, we realized very quickly that we do not need the extra wide tires for the beach.
